Membership Stats
The Civil Air Patrol has 64,725 members. Below are some different categories that you may join and the number of members we currently have in those categories.
Aerospace Education Membership - number of members 1,396
* Mostly a membership to help teachers, but is open to anyone wishing to support Aerospace Education.
Cadet Members - number of members 26,537
* Children between the ages of 12 and 21.
Cadet Sponsors - number of members 501
* Parents and Guardians that wish to join their children in CAP activities but do not wish to become a full member.
Senior Members - number of members 30,874
* Adults older than 18.
Patron Members - number of members 966
* Adults that wish to support a unit with a monetary contribution and do not participate in activities.
